Given this inherent demand, we’ve generally seen the multi-family sector outperform its counterparts with the least amount of volatility. Today, rental demand is in large part fueled by the nation’s largest living generation—millennials, a demographic generally comprised of individuals ages 20 to 34. This group is redefining traditional social trends in ways that are expected to help drive multifamily demand for years to come.
